  • Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact strength workout performed on the Megaformer that builds muscular endurance, core stability, and total-body strength through slow, controlled movement.

  • Spring resistance creates variable, continuous tension rather than a single gravity-based load like free weights. This allows muscles to work through the entire range of motion, increasing motor unit recruitment and time under tension while reducing compressive force on the joints and spine. The result is stronger connective tissue, improved neuromuscular control, and balanced muscle development with lower injury risk.

  • The Lagree shakes occur when muscles reach fatigue under continuous tension. As available muscle fibers tire, the nervous system recruits additional fibers to keep the movement going, creating visible tremors. This process reflects strong neuromuscular engagement and is part of how Lagree develops endurance, stability, and strength.

  • No! While both use spring resistance, Lagree is a high-intensity strength method built on the Magic 10 principles—effective form, range of motion, tempo, duration, sequence, transition, tension, plane of motion, effective incline, and resistance.
